Texas Classic BMX Days is the first event of its kind to be held outside of California. The event is being held at Cycle Ranch in Floresville, Texas a short 40 minute drive south of the San Antonio airport. The event will be a weekend long celebration of the early days of BMX and a chance to relive the glory days of your youth!
The weekend will include BMX racing on vintage and modern bikes on an old school downhill track. Racing category is determined on the year and model of the bike such as pre 1976 bikes with coaster brakes and sidehacks.
A vintage BMX bike show with awards for the top 3 in each class and a GRAND CHAMPION for the show!
A BMX swap meet where you can buy, sell and, trade parts to build your own show bike or sell your extra parts and pieces.
Saturday evening will be a BBQ dinner fundraiser with proceeds going to the Leukemia Race For Life and the Davis Phinney foundation to support Parkinson’s disease research. A very special part of the evening is the opportunity to sit at the same table with some of the legends of the sport of BMX! Some of the legends and Hall of Famers attending include Stu Thomsen, Toby Henderson, Mike Miranda, Andy Patterson, Dave Clinton, Eddie King, John Crews, Dee Chipps, Todd Slavik, Steve Veltman, Mark Summers, Jeff Osmus, and others!
Texas Classic BMX Days has joined Forces with FROGTOWN and, DIRTYFEST to give Vintage BMX Racers and Show entries the opportunity to earn points towards the first ever US Vintage National Championship in their respective class!
